▪︎"Unfortunately, I received the news of the demise of the supreme jurist and grand Marja, Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani. He was one of the pillars of the seminary of Qom and one of the prominent scientific and practical scholars and the most experienced religious scholar in that blessed seminary."
▪︎Imam Khamenei also pointed to Ayatollah Safi Golpaygani's revolutionary services and important responsibilities during the Islamic Republic.
▪︎"Poetic talent, historical memory, and dealing with social issues were other dimensions of the personality of this noble scholar. His demise is a great loss for the religious scientific community of the country."
