Our heartiest congratulations to the Imam of our time Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), our righteous scholar Sheikh Zakzaky, and all the believers on the birth anniversary of Sayyida Fatima Zahra (sa).
Lady Fatima was not unique simply because she was the daughter of the Holy Prophet (s). It was her innate characteristics that made her special.
The Prophet (s) would often emphasize her status. “When she used to come to see the Prophet (s), he would rise to greet her, kiss her, welcome her, take her by the hand and make her sit in his place.” It was because of her perfection and excellence that the Prophet said “If Ali was not created, there would be no equal for Fatima.”
The Holy Prophet (s) once said:
‘Fatima is the chief of all the women of the world’ and also:
'‘Fatima is the chief of the women of Paradise’'
These titles bestowed on her by the Prophet and Allah (s.w.t) indicate she was at the highest level of spirituality and morality.
She is a perfect human being, an ideal example for males and females. As one of the fourteen Masoomeen, SayyidaFatima (sa) was infallible. As such, her pleasure was Allah’s pleasure and her anger was Allah’s anger.
The Messenger (s) has said, “Fatima is part of me. Whoever harms her, harms me and whoever harms me, angers Allah. Whoever angers her angers me and whoever satisfies her satisfies me”.
‘Surely Allah is angry with what makes Fatima angry, and is pleased with what pleases her.’
These hadith attest to the greatness of Fatima (sa) and her elevated position before Allah. What does it mean that Allah becomes angry for the anger of a person, and satisfied for their satisfaction?
It means that this person has lived for Allah’s satisfaction, and has stayed away from that which provokes His wrath. This is possible only when the person sees through the eyes of Allah, speaks through the tongue of Allah, and acts only on the will of Allah. Only an infallible and perfect human being can reach this rank.
If someone wants to know his rank in the sight of Allah, he needs only look to the AhlulBayt (as) and see where he stands with them.
Dear brothers and sisters, we all have defects and need to remove our defects to reach our Lord.
We need to serve Allah to make him happy and become his servant as he wanted. The highest point of mans life is to serve his creator and to be acknowledged as His servant.
The life of Sayyida Fatima (a) was a life that was fully immersed in the Message of Islam, and her every breath of was dedicated for the sake of Allah (swt).
Let us then immerse our selves in her life, and live it. She is an example and role model for all believers, but especially women. She was a defender of Islam and wilayah. She was a perfect daughter, wife, mother, and most importantly, perfect worshiper of Allah (s.w.t).
Peace be upon you Oh Lady Zahra the day you're born the day you're martyred and the day you'll be resurrected to life.
