Imam Hassan (As) the leader of the youth in heaven was born in the holy city of Madina in third year after Hijra.

Imam Hassan (As) the leader of the youth in heaven was born in the holy city of Madina in third year after Hijra.

Imam Hassan (As) is the second holy imam from infallible prophet's progeny (As) and was divinely with all great qualities to such an extent that he was outstanding in knowledge, tolerance, intelligence, bounty and valour.

Brief history of imam Hassan (As).

Name:- Hassan .

Tittle:- Al_mujtaba.

Kunyat:- Abu Muhammad.

Father:- Imam Ali (As).

Mother:- Fatima Zahra (As). 

Birthdate:- 15th Ramadan.

Imamate period:- From 40- 50 years A.H.

Martyrdom:- 7th Safar 50 A.H.

Buried:-Madina Baqee cemetary.

The imam (As) was the eldest child of Imam Ali (As) and sayyeda Fatima Zahra (As), when the prophet (S) received the happy news of the birth of his grandson, he came at once to his beloved daughter's house,He took the newly born baby in his arms and recited the Adhaan (Hudba Prayer) in it's right ear and the Iqama in it's left ear.

Then, in accordance with the command of Allah (SWT), he named the child "Hassan".

The holy Imam (As) spent the first seven years of his life under the guidance of his grandfather, the holy prophet (S). This early training made the holy imam (As) outstanding in his knowledge, piety, tolerance, intelligence, and courage.

The holy Imam (As) and his brother Imam Hussain (As) were very dear to the prophet (S) he used to carry them on his shoulders and once told the people "Hassan and Hussain are the leaders of the youth of paradise". And again said "O Allah I love Hassan and Hussain loves them and loves who loves them".

Sayyeda Fatima Zahra (As) once brought  her two sons to her father and said "Oh Apostle of Allah, these are your two grandson give them something as an inheritance." The holy prophet (S) replied "Hassan shall have my form and my nobility and Hussain shall have my generosity and bravery.

Brief about the martyrdom of Imam Hassan was killed by his wife Ju'udah who took the toxic drinks and gave it to him in order to kill him, donated by Mu'awiyah (L) as she promised. On the date 7th Safar 50 years A.H,  Mu'awiyah (L) conspired with ju'udah to gave the holy Imam (As) some poison, in return she would get 100,000 dirhams and he would marry his son Yazid (L) to her. This evils woman put poison in the holy Imam's (As) drinks and he immediately fell gravely ill as a result of that poison. After great suffering, the holy imam (As) departed from this world.

Just before he died, he entrusted the affairs of Imamate to his beloved brother Imam Hussain (As) and made him the guardian of own family.

The imam (As) has started that before he was buried in jannatul Baqee, his body should be taken to the grave of the holy prophet ( S) for his final visit . When the Bani Hashim attempted to carry out the last wishes of the holy imam (As) they were stopped by Ayesha and members of the Bani ummayya, who thought that they wishes to bury him next to his grandfather, Imam (As) did not want bloodshed, so directed that the body be taken straight to jannatul Baqee, where Imam (As) was buried next to his grandmother Fatima b'nt Asad.

Imam Hasan was 48 years old when he was martyred by his tyrant wife Ja'dah by poisoning him in his drink.

Peace be upon you ya Imam (As) the day you're born, the day you're martyred and the day you'll stand before your creator (Hereafter).
